Date Night Spotlight – Take a Walk

Winter is coming.

Even with snowfall, a walk together in the park can be romantic and fun. Grab a coffee and hold hands as you walk through nature together.

There are some great spots to walk together locally. Remember to stay present. Take your romantic selfies at the start of the trail, then put the phones away. If you receive a lot of notifications from apps, turn them off before your date. If you venture out to a wooded trail for your date, remember these tips for doing so during hunting season.

White Park in Concord NH has some simple walking trails and a beautiful pond. If you’re having a hard time finding a sitter, connect with another family who could use some alone time, too. While you walk together, they can keep an eye on your kids at the playground, and then you can switch!  This is the perfect location for a deal like that.

Sewalls Falls Park Trails are about 3 miles total. It’s close to Beaver Meadow Golf Course!

the McLane Audubon Society trails are another great swap-spot with another family. There are live birds on site, and a great trail. If it’s just the two of you, drive past the Audubon Society and park in the lot at the bottom of the hill. There’s the 89 bike trail that you’ll pass, which is another great walk.

We live in a beautiful state with many trails to choose from. These will get you started, but don’t be afraid to try something new or to make a date for your favorite trail. Get outside, and connect!
